Have you ever wanted to take a trip overseas

Think you can't afford to travel overseas to your dream spot? Well you may be wrong, because it doesn't matter what your current situation is, or what you are going through. If you have a little income coming in, then the trip of your dreams could be right around the corner, sort of speak.

If you have ever dreamed of taking a trip to Italy, Spain, France or Europe in general, or other countries such as Australia, America (If you're not from America), or the UK, then read below for a few easy to follow tips that can help you save for your overseas vacation in no time flat.

So how do you afford to take an overseas trip

So how do you afford a trip overseas, especially in these tough times? Well, there are some tips below that you can follow, but I am warning you that some of these tips are hard to follow but not impossible to follow.

Stop eating crap food that you do not need. You do not need to eat that bag of chips, you do not need that soda when there is water, and you do not need to eat candy bars. Stop it now! If you eat junk food or drink drinks that you do not need on a  monthly basis, just stop it. If you are craving something or want to buy something that you do not need, then put that money that you were going to spend on nit somewhere else. Put it towards your overseas trip. Say if you spend $30-$40 a month on stuff you don't need, such as alcohol, soda and junk food, just save that $30-$40 a month instead.

If you have a little income coming in on a weekly or bi-weekly basis, then take at least $20 of that income and put it aside, and do not touch it until you are ready to purchase tickets for your overseas trip. Even if you're only able to save just $40 a month, just do it. On top of the money you are saving from not buying junk food, and saving $40 a month, you are up to around $70-$80 a month in savings. Sure not a lot, but there are a few other things you can do to save some cash.

Do you own a vehicle? Well if you do then don't drive it for a week straight or try not to. If you spend $40-$60 a week on gas, then try to drive a lot less than what you normally would do. Try to take public transportation, or walk or even ride a bicycle when you are able to. If you do this for one week straight then you will be able to save that $40-$60 a month, and you should be able to save around $140 if you are following the other two tips above.

Where to buy your plane tickets and when to buy them

So you want to save $140 dollars a month, and after a year has gone by you should have a little more than $1,600. This amount should cover a round trip ticket to anywhere you want to go. So what you want to do is to book your trip for six months down the road, and keep saving $140 a month. You will then have around $800 to pay for your hotel, hostel and food. This should be enough money to pay for at least five days, at least five days.

You should look for plane tickets on Expedia, Travelocity, Priceline and Orbit. All of these are excellent websites to buy plane tickets from.

Good luck, and hopefully you get to take a dream vacation overseas one of these days.
